Chris Coleman
In the year 1987, Coleman made his league debut for Swansea City and went on to star for the club on over 200 occasions. After four blistering years playing for Swansea, Coleman moved on to play for Crystal Palace, a club which he went on to spend four seasons with. In 1995, Blackburn Rovers purchased the player for £2.8 million and he soon made an instant impact, his spell at Blackburn only lasted two seasons and he moved on to Swansea City during the 1997-98 campaign. In January 1998, he was installed as club captain and soon became a supporter’s favourite. He helped the club to promotion from the second division all the way into the premiership. In January 2001, Coleman broke his leg in a car crash and never played again for the club; towards the start of 2003 he was installed as manger of Swansea City.
