Ray Lewington
Ray Lewington began his career playing for Chelsea in the early 1970’s, however he is most notable for his spell playing for Swansea City, starring for the club on two separate occasions. He was installed as their player manager towards the end of the 1985-86 season, during his final seasons at the club, he helped Swansea City reach the play offs, however he was unsuccessful in helping the side to promotion.
Peter Kitchen
Kitchen was most notable for his spell playing for Leyton Orient, he was outstanding for the London club which in turn earned him a move to Swansea City in February 1979 for a staggering £150,000, it proved to be Swansea City’s record signing for over 1 5years, until the early 1990’s. He was a consistent member in the Swansea City squad once arriving.
